Accreditations: The PAI Group have an enviable list of accreditations, and we are proud to be accredited with and members of the following industry organisations.
PAI Group - ISO 9001:2008
Contracting with the PAI Group – clients can be confident of our quality processes and systems. We ‘build in’ quality to everything we do, delivering best value to clients. We are accredited to ISO 9001:2008 for “Design Integration, Supply, Installation, Service and Support of Bespoke Audio-visual, Lighting, Sound and Dynamic Signage Solutions to the Leisure, Retail, Education, Heritage and Sports Industries”.

PAI Group - Sustainability
At the PAI Group careful use of resources and sustainability are key concepts we hold in high regard. We operate an Environmental Management System, and continually review and implement systems to reduce energy usage, minimise waste and dispose of material in the most responsible way. We also factor sustainability into our design installation and support practices, and are proficient with schemes such as BREEAM, LEED, and SKA. Specifically, in terms of AV, we seek to apply STEP (Sustainable Technology Environments Program), supported by InfoComm and CompTIA.

PAI Group - SAFEcontractor approved
The PAI Group remain committed to the health, wellbeing and overall safety of our workforce, as well as that of other trades we work alongside and members of the general public. To this end we operate a strict, assured safety management system, integrated with our ISO 9001 and 14001 compliant activities. This includes group wide commitment to our regularly reviewed safety policy, organising and planning to implement this, in addition to ongoing monitoring, audits and reviews. Accordingly, our workforce is highly trained in General Health and Safety, as well as specific Work at Height, Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness and Risk Assessments. Each holds an ECS (CSCS) Card and is PASMA certified. A number also hold IPAF and our supervisors are all CITB SSSTS accredited. Underpinning our commitment to safety, we have achieved SAFEcontractor accreditation in recognition of reaching the SAFEcontractor health and safety standards in accordance with SAFEcontractor Charter Standards.

The PAI Group have also been assessed as CHAS compliant. The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK.

PAI Group - Registered members of the Electrical Contractors'
Association
The PAI Group's operations conform with the Electricity at Work Act, which requires employers to ensure that electrical installations are carried out to BS 7671:2008 (IET Wiring Regulations) by competent persons. Additionally, works relating to Fire Safety such as Alarms, Disabled Refuge and Voice Alarm require certification to BS 5839 Parts 1, 8 or 9. As registered members of the ECA (Electrical Contractors' Association), we are regularly assessed to prove competence in Electrical Installation, Fire Safety Systems and Data Installations to BS EN 50173, BS EN 50174 and BS EN 50346. Full testing and inspection of installations is carried out during commissioning, and certificates issued on completion.

PAI Group - Supporting Members of the Institute of Sound and
Communications Engineers
The Institute of Sound and Communications Engineers is the specialist Learned Society for sound and communications engineers. We are supporting members, and as such work with the industry to improve the technical standards, knowledge and practices of sound installations. Our leading design team members have also been accepted as full members. The ISCE plays a major part in developing installation standards and training, as such we are able to certify all PA systems to BS 6259, all loop systems to EN 60118 Part 4 and all VA Systems to BS 5839 Part 8.

PAI Group - Active Members of InfoComm
InfoComm is the International Audiovisual Association. We are active members and sit on the European Council. All our staff undertake InfoComm Audiovisual and Network training, working towards the Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) credential. CTS is the only ISO registered AV qualification. Our principal designer also holds the prestigious CTS-D (Design) qualification.

CEDIA, the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association, is the international trade organisation for the home electronic systems industry. CEDIA members specialise in the planning, design, supply and installation of automated electronic systems for the modern, intelligent home. Our principal designer is a CEDIA Certified Design Professional.

We are members of PLASA, the Professional Lighting and Sound Association. PLASA is the lead international membership body for those who supply technologies and services to the event, entertainment and installation industries and seeks to influence business practices and skills development across the industry. PAI Group Managing Director and CEO, Paul Adams, held the role of Chairman from 1995-2001.
