Disabled Refuge Systems
Current regulations state that all new buildings with more than one storey must provide wheelchair users with access to a refuge area in the event of an emergency.
We design, install and maintain emergency voice communication systems for the refuge areas, where individuals can await safe evacuation. Compliant with British Standards 5839 Part 9, the equipment provides simple but effective two way communication and is essential in assisting rescue teams to determine where help is needed and to reassure people in these areas that help is on the way.
Our company is a main distributor for Baldwin Boxall Communications and Current Thinking, two of the leading UK manufacturers of such systems.
