Paul Adams – Group Chairman, CEO and Managing Director
Since forming PA Installations in 1982, Paul has used his determination and drive to successfully administer the group’s development and growth. Investing heavily in the company to benefit existing customers and to nurture new business, he has recruited and supported one of the industry’s most proficient teams for the last 35 years.
Consequently, the PAI Group continues to remain at the forefront of the service sector for its professional practice and implementation of new technologies.
As well as overseeing the organisation’s operations, Paul regularly meets with clients, taking an active part in both project design and completion. In addition to his day-to-day responsibilities, he has also devoted time to contribute and promote the Professional Lighting and Sound Association (PLASA), holding the chairmanship for five years.
Richard Vaughan MInstSCE – Director
Richard is an accomplished audio professional with over 30 years of experience in designing and delivering audio systems for education, drama and theatrical performance, and sports stadia. He is also a qualified Fire Alarm System designer and is responsible for overseeing most fire, voice alarm and disabled refuge projects.
Joining the group as co-owner following the acquisition of Vaughan Sound in 1997, Richard continues to build the company his father, David, formed in 1964.
Day-to-day, Richard plays a pivotal role in business operations, managing industrial, local authority, leisure, stadia and worship clients, amongst others.
Andy Bonehill MCP, CTS-D, CCP – Technical Director
Andy is the company’s principal design engineer and has almost 25 years of experience in designing, managing, installing and supporting AV installations worldwide. He is one of the UK's most qualified AV/IT specialists, with both InfoComm and CEDIA accreditations for audio-visual, Microsoft Certifications for IT, ITIL certification and IOSH Managing Safely. Andy is also an accomplished audio professional and a member of the Institute of Sound and Communications Engineers (MInstSCE).
Applying his experience in control and digital media systems, Andy manages our key retail and leisure client accounts. In house, Andy directs our compliance projects such as ISO 9001, 14001 and our Safety Management System. He also oversees our information systems development and web presence.
Andy is actively involved with the Electrical Contractors' Association, regularly contributing to local branch and central technical committees. Andy is also an active volunteer for InfoComm, acting as Education advisor to the ISE Show and chairing the European Council.
Chris Ash MSc – Commercial Director
Chris is a well-qualified and highly experienced professional in finance and logistics, with in-depth experience of all commercial, financial, procurement, planning procedures and sales administration functions. He began with the PAI Group in 2004 and manages customer and supplier relationships.
Chris’ qualifications – which include a Masters in Management, IOSH Managing Safely, Certificate of Resource Efficiency, Association Accounts Technician (AAT), an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchase and Supply (CIPS), BA (Hons) in Economics and Social Industrial Studies and BTEC National Diploma in Business and Finance – have all given him a comprehensive understanding and focus on continuous improvement of the business processes for the PAI Group.
Chris has recently bolstered his CV with the addition of ITIL and Prince2 (Foundation plus Programme and Project Sponsorship) certifications.
Keith Fish – Business Development Director
Seeking out new business opportunities, Keith regularly liaises with prospective clients, along with architects, consultants and engineers to ascertain their requirements. Joining the company in 2004, he ensures projects run smoothly, producing designs, technical submittals and proposals, whilst efficiently managing existing accounts.
Having completed numerous manufacturer training courses, Keith, who has worked in both engineering and technical managerial roles, has acquired an astute understanding of the application of emerging technologies, system integration and AV/IT collaboration.
Using his previous service industry experience as well as his strong communication skills and logical approach, he successfully oversees the completion of projects, ultimately developing business and strengthening the company’s client portfolio.Back to top
Keith Badman - General Manager
Managing the installation and supports teams both technically and logistically, Keith takes overall accountability for the day-to-day work programme, allocating labour to scheduled projects, as well as monitoring and administering ongoing work. Reporting weekly to Account Managers, Keith also assigns company Project Managers and monitors project progress.
Utilising his extensive experience within the Royal Navy - where he attained the rank of Chief Petty Officer Engineering Technician - as well as his strong management skills, Keith successfully oversees and controls our operations department and team of engineers. Holder of a NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) certificate and ITIL qualification, and an Incorporated Engineer and member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, he possesses an excellent technical knowledge and understanding of health and safety in the workplace.
With key attributes including organisation, motivation and an ability to inspire and lead a cohesive team, Keith is the driving force behind our day-to-day engineer movements and job implementation.
Tony Moruzzi – Operations Manager
Tony assists the General Manager and operations department in the delivery of projects from the moment they go live to completion and beyond. Using his extensive technical knowledge to provide solutions to problems as they arise, he also directly manages selected projects from the initial planning to client handover. He is largely responsible for the production of Risk Assessments and other key project materials, significantly aiding our inherent administration processes as part of our ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditation commitments.
Tony's role is diverse, and he is regularly on site doubling as a Project Manager or Engineer to offer his extensive skills on our larger, complex installation projects. Having been involved with the PAI Group for more than 30 years, Tony has acquired an excellent understanding of the service industry. Fully conversant with the company’s vast product range, his other qualifications include a City & Guilds certificate in Electrical Engineering, IOSH Managing Safely and an ILM diploma in First Line Management.
Keith Elms – Business Manager, LTP Integration & Products
Having been with the PAI Group for more than a decade in various roles, Keith was appointed as Business Manager for Lighting Integration Ltd (T/A LTP Integration & Products). With previous employment as an engineer in deep mining, and specific expertise in theatrical lighting and design, he works closely with architects, artists, designers and M&E consultants creating interior and exterior lighting schemes, administering design proposals and outline specification documentation as required.
With in excess of 25 years of on-site experience, Keith is also a registered ECS Electrical Site Manager and IOSH Managing Safely academic. Additionally, he has an extensive knowledge of the service industry, providing clients and their teams with expert advice. He possesses an impeccable understanding of traditional and contemporary lighting products, which he continues to evolve and strengthen.Back to top
