The Project Lifecycle

From concept development through to project implementation.

You can have confidence in our system integration capabilities, as we work closely with our customers and their appointed Architects/Designers, providing systems which not only meet their business and operational requirements, but which free them to maximise their current and future potential.  From concept development through to project implementation, the PAI Group will support you at every step.

Defining your requirements.

The most important part of the process is defining your requirements.  Today's evolving technology offers numerous solutions with differing cost and operational implications.  Our Systems Integration specialists will help you formulate your ideas, and provide you with a cost-effective and dynamic solution.

Each project presents its own unique challenges.  A common starting point is simply an outline requirement, from which we can begin working together, to turn your visions into reality.
At the initial stage, our design and implementation teams discuss all aspects of your proposed system.  Whilst exploring your requirements, we draw on our own experience of similar and recent projects.  We may suggest alternative approaches but we never attempt to promote unsuitable solutions to our customers.

We use the latest CAD (computer aided design) techniques to prepare detailed working drawings and cable schedules.  The versatility of CAD enables us to illustrate various options for you in advance of a final decision being made.

Our Systems Integration specialists are experienced with a wide range of branded and non-branded products.  We source and procure the various elements of your system as required, providing complete solutions.
We also have the capability to design and develop new and customised products, by utilising our in-house design team, or working with third-party product development companies.

Project Management.

Good project management can be defined as:
"successfully planning, implementing and managing all tasks and resources associated with a project, from initial concept through to completion, whilst maintaining open and effective communication with all parties involved."

When a project is successfully managed, it progresses smoothly through each phase to completion.  PAI Group has extensive experience of project management.  We employ project managers with extensive experience of effectively managing the five major elements in every project: Time, Equipment, People, Tasks and Budget.

When PAI Group manages a project, the installed system will:

  • Exceed the performance specified in the Bid.

  • Comply with industry 'standards'.

  • Maximise the budget allotted.

  • Utilise staff and other resources effectively.

  • Provide maximum serviceability for the client.

  • Provide maximum functionality for the client.

  • Be well understood by the client's staff.

  • Be completed on budget and on time.

Our Project Managers are trained to think from the customer's perspective.  They can manage the project from design to documentation, through installation, to final acceptance.

Complete integrated systems solutions.

Our fabrication workshop enables us to manufacture anything from a simple speaker bracket to a complex engineered structure. In our production shop we manufacture our own A/V racks and other bespoke equipment housings necessary to fulfil a contract.

We assemble and test the various sub-systems before delivery to your site, checking their operational features and measuring them against specification.

During on-site commissioning, the system is tested and the operating results agreed and confirmed with your own technical staff.  Formal contractual acceptance then takes place against procedures matched to your individual needs.  We always provide training on your system, which continues through the immediate post-commissioning period, in support of your operational staff.

Following your opening date, our support continues during the warranty period and beyond.  We offer tailored support programmes to ensure you can always rely on the PAI Group to provide resources, expertise and service backup.  Support can also include our remote system interrogation service: a state-of-the-art approach to customer operational help and advice.
